Fenerbahce got two consolation goals with a Silvestre own goal and a second half goal by Spanish forward Danny Guiza.
Villareal led the day's goal fest with a 6-3 win over AaB Aalborg to give MAnchester United a run for their money as they won 3-0 against Celtic. Rooney scored a stunning goal and Berbatov scored a brace to keep them at the top of their group.
