Safe but Classy!

Tonight's game was one in which the main aim was to gain all three points-and that the gunners have achieved. Their sheer power to start a game on the bright side saw them take the lead ,and a finish by the "goalscorer" Emmanuel Adebayor saw arsenal grab the 3 points in a rather lacklustre midfield scrap.
One would wonder whether they could have, or rather should have scored more. Who can blame them? A tiring round of international matches followed by heavy training cannot be followed by 5 - 6 freeflowing goals. Blackburn and Arsenal , both shared large amounts of possession , and the goalkeeping skills displayed by Brad Friedel won him the man of the match award.
He was purely the reason why blackburn were still in the game after the first goal , as he managed to keep out blasts from flamini as well as hleb .Tonight arsenal played it safe , but the amount of pressure that was applied needs to be taken into account.
What arsenal need to be thankful for is that their defensive errors were clearly to the minimum and their midfield passing was still in tact (taking into consideration that fabregas was partially ill and gilberto was included in the side.)
But this is the time of the season where it gets difficult; a string of important matches in the coming weeks include the fa cup clash against united as well as the champions league toil against milan.
The question that swerves around england : Can arsenal keep up their good form? Can they break the barriers of injuries and face the challenges that lie ahead? We shall find out.

Thanking You
Gunner!
