Hello again and let me start by saying that "Super Sunday" did live up to its expectations, even though the results did not go our way. Pain and devastation for arsenal once again as after 4 draws comes no victory, but a loss. Some admirable football from Didier Drogba has literally ended arsenal's chance of winning this years Barclays premier league. Will this have a long-term effect on the gunners? I think not. What they need to keep in mind is that they played fantastic football and had a number of decisions against them. Drogba's goal was clearly offside, and the injury to the defence was the turning part of the game. The midfield of arsenal held strong and moved forward quite well, the defence was rather slack with long balls killing the game off. Van persie had a far better game then Adebayor, who does not like scoring any more. If not premier league, maybe champions league. Thats what they should keep their minds on right now. They should grab the horns of their season and direct it to champions leaague glory, as their title hopes faint away. This might be the perfect chance to make something out of literally nothing. In an exclusive interview with goal.com Dider drogba states that Gallas should be given more respect. The day before that he stated that Gallas should be booed. Now we all know that Drogba is either massively thick in the head or dangerously ill. We shall pray for him, but moreover pray for a trophy entering Arsenal's cabinet, which has remained empty for a really long time.
Next week the gunners are off to the Reebok stadium, where i daresay they will find themselves challenged once again. The previous meeting saw the home side grab a 2-0 victory---this time i dont think any result is confirmed.
Thank you
Gunner!
