Hello again and let me just start by saying "le français a roué de coups" which states the thrashing of the French. A 4-1 rollover of the French completes the Dutch qualification and also gives them a new tag - Favourites. Goals from Kuyt, Persie, Sneijder and of course Robben have woken Romania up as they know that a victory against the Dutch will see them go from underdogs to title contenders. The match started off disastrously for France as an unfazed Kuyt fought off Malouda to head the ball straight in. Once again the French could not find their feet. In the second half Thierry Henry missed one, but compensated for that by scoring-only to watch the ball slamming into the net a minute later by Arjen Robben. The two became a four which brings to my attention the reason for this disaster. Why is Flamini not playing? Why is it that Nasri and Benzema had no part to play in the game? What is the reason for the exclusion of Arsenal's consistent defenders Clichy and Sagna? It is indeed about time Raymond Domenech started answering some questions as eyebrows will be raised over his future and whether he has what it takes to be the manager of The French national team. In the end, for France to qualify, they will have to demolish an Italian side similar in morale to themselves. Low in confidence and spirit, the test will be of sheer mentality, and only those who give it their all shall watch their side grab a place in the quarter finals.
