THE CLASH OF THE TWO GUNNERS

It seemed like it was Arsenal's season , nothing could be found going against them. The first half of the season went pleasantly....with them playing a part in every competition and cruising through..occupying top spot in the league and a place in the semi final match against Tottenham tonight.
Till tonight.
Disaster struck for Arsenal. The Gunner's luck and charm seemed to float away. The young side that Arsene Wenger decided to play collapsed to a spirited Tottenham...displayed by the fact that there was a goal in the first three minutes as well as an own goal.

This went on to become FIVE...a rather humiliating total that left the Gunners in awe....only for Adebayor to headbutt Bendtner in the stomach for some WILD reason.. Bendtner was left bloodied with a broken nose and jaw . This could have a rather massive effect on the spirit of the team, for which they have been mightly praised. We all wonder whether we'll ever come out on top after this situation, or watch entertaining football after this breathtaking event. The fans do indeed think this is unacceptable behaviour , and as an Arsenal fan, i take pleasure in the assumption that Arsenal were punished, for their self destructive behaviour that has been displayed. I hope this does not further destroy the team , as i have always reckoned they have a bright future.

I also feel Wenger has a part to play in the defeat, as he has clearly stated he has two sides that play well, one contains first team players and the other contains the young side. Today the workaholic assumed that mixing the sides would work. I was rather shocked, looking at the start up squad, i realized that this was not the match Arsenal were waiting for all their lives.

Let's all try and ignore this match and place it at the back of our heads, as that is where it deserves to stay. This was not expected , neither deserved. It just showed us what can happen if things are taken for granted.

Thanking you all ...
gunner!
