Reports all over England suggest that the first leg clash between Arsenal and Milan was a fair result. I think otherwise. The Gunners clearly played the ageing Milan side all over the park!
It has been said that a draw at the Emirates will leave Milan with an advantage. But can that be justified? Once again, I think not. If Arsenal manage a similar performance in the 2nd leg with at least a goal to make it a draw, they will undoubtfully be through. Their performance tonight was of pearl beauty, and their classy passing was back to normal. They had a few hiccups with Toure being substituted, but that's football. Arsenal fans will be plainly disappointed with the missed chances and the fact that the scorecard did not indicate at least a 2 to the home side. Based on tonight's performance, it has been proven that experience does not say it all. The young guns showed pace, stamina and skill. All credit to Milan ,who managed to keep up with this bullace. They indeed will entertain the Gunners at the San Siro in a match that will finally clarify who goes through, and who doesn't. If anyone reckons a loss for Arsenal is confirmed, May i ask you to think again?
Thank you.
Gunner!
