Shalke 04 fly home with away goal advantage!

Porto welcomed Schalke 04 for the first leg of the their knockout match in the Champions League.
But it was the visitors who started on a bright note, as they raced to a 1-0 lead through Kevin Kuranyi's goal in the 4th minute.

Porto managed to get their game going, and kept pushing for an equaliser.
But Shalke's defence was strong and Porto weren't able to get their shots on target.

Shalke were in command in the second half, and were looking to double the lead.
Porto were still on the backfoot, and they failed to equalise as the game finished off 1-0 to Shalke 04, who now have a valuable away goal advantage.
